NARAL Pro-Choice Georgia today endorsed Nikema Williams and Jen Jordan in their campaigns for the Georgia Senate. Jordan (SD-6) and Williams (SD-39) received the backing of the nation’s leading pro-choice advocacy group for their commitment to defend the rights of women and families across Georgia and to expand access to basic reproductive healthcare, including contraception and abortion care. Jordan and Williams could also take away the super majority that anti-choice Republicans currently control in the State Senate, ensuring better representation for all Georgians.

“As a pro-choice woman, trial attorney, and advocate who fights everyday to protect the rights of individuals, I am ready and uniquely qualified to fight for the fundamental rights of every individual to have control over their reproductive health decisions,” said Georgia SD-6 candidate, Jen Jordan. “Those opposed to women making their own decisions currently control many levers of power in the General Assembly, and we have to work smarter and harder to stand up for what’s right — there can be no equivocation and no learning curve. I’m ready to get to work.”
